CRTI/ALGERIA/Industrial Technologies

Under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Research Center for Industrial Technologies (CRTI), established by Executive Decree No. 15-109 of May 3, 2015, amending Executive Decree No. 92-280 of July 6, 1992, establishing the Research Center for Industrial Technologies (CRTI), is a Public Scientific and Technological Institution (EPST). The CRTI, formerly known as CSC, has a workforce of 750 employees, including 300 permanent researchers, 200 members of the technical staff, and 150 experts and engineers working for the subsidiary CSC Expertise SPA. Furthermore, the center has several research and technology transfer facilities throughout the national territory. Before acquiring EPST status, the center went through several stages of development, beginning with the establishment of the Welding and Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory (LSCND) in 1985, and culminating in the creation of a national-level research center in 1992.
